A Volkswagen battery is a rechargeable battery that provides electrical energy to your automobile.It’s also called an SLI battery (abbreviation of starting-lighting-ignition) and its main goal will be to start the Volkswagen engine.

Normally, starting discharges less than three per cent of the battery capacity. SLI batteries are made to discharge a high burst of current, measured in amperes, and then be immediately recharged.
They’re not designed for deep discharge, as well as the lifespan of the Volkswagen battery can be reduced by a full discharge.
